But still, The Kansas Creative has been in my heart and on my mind…

I’m not sure of the particulars myself yet, but I’m now contemplating a revival.  Most likely, when it returns, it won’t be published monthly.  It will probably go back to the quarterly format, or perhaps biannual…we’ll see!

So, while I’m just starting to think about the possibilities, I want to let you know that I am open to your thoughts, ideas, submissions, and questions!

After having put it off for a couple weeks now, I thought it was about time to let you know what’s been going on with The Kansas Creative or, rather, what hasn’t been going on…

If you haven’t noticed yet, this little zine has gone on a bit of a hiatus.  I knew it was bound to happen at some point, but I really hoped it wouldn’t happen so soon!  My excuse last month was the Craftacular.  (Which, by the way, was a wonderful success.  If you didn’t make it, I missed you, but we’re going to do it again–and if you want to stay updated, do be sure to visit our little facebook hangout!)

Now…where was I?  Oh yes, excuses.  And, as ever, I have many.  But I won’t bore you with them.  What I will tell you is that while life is currently keeping me from theKC, I am hopeful that this arrangement isn’t permanent.   (In fact, many of the other projects I’m working on are of a creative nature and will, I am quite sure, rear their lovely heads on  this site sooner or later!)   I believe a time will come when I’ll be able to keep this up regularly.  But for now, any activity will be sporadic.

Do keep in mind, though, that I still post things on The Kansas Creative fan page from time to time; if there’s an event, a person, place, or thing that may be of interest, I promise to share it!  And since the official website will be right where I left it, you can still explore the resources sections to find classes, discover artists, and peruse other blogs.
